One of the Closest Hotels to the State Fair of Texas

October is the golden month for fairs. At historic Fair Park in downtown Dallas, guests staying at our Hyatt Regency North Dallas get to experience the State Fair of Texas, a three-week rollercoaster of fun games and tasty food that dates back to 1886. Enjoy parades, puppet shows, gondola rides, BMX bike shows, dog and pig races, Ferris wheel rides and the only full-blown auto show in the country to be featured at a fair. As far as traditions go, the Cotton Bowl is about as iconic as the deep-fried food that supplies every vendor tent in Fair Park. Witness the Red River Rivalry firsthand as Texas faces off against Oklahoma for a college football game you won’t soon forget.
